The Time Capsule
During recent renovations to our gym hall we took the opportunity to bury a Time Capsule. Hopefully when it is unearthed the people of the future will be able to see what a huge effort we were making to save our world.

The Time Capsule was buried two metres in from the right hand door as you enter the hall from the front of the school. It contains: a school mug, a school tie, class photographs, examples of our children's work and various newspaper articles and messages.
A display was set up so that every one could see exactly what was to go into the box.

Keep it Green
As part of our Eco Action Plan we have set up a gardening club in the Primary 1 to Primary 3 classes.
We are looking forward to a great display in the spring and summer.

The beds at the side of the school are already beginning to show how busy we have been.
The children are very proud of their handiwork.
The plants and shrubs help to make our playground a greener and more attractive place.

Scottish Opera
The Primary 6 and 7 children have worked recently with Scottish Opera. The show was called 'Slim McBride and the Lost Tribe'. The theme was linked to our Eco work. It reflected the dangers of taking our world's resources for granted. The children enjoyed the experience.
